Represented plaintiff minority shareholders of closely held agricultural services corporation in moving for involuntary dissolution under California Corporations Code. After pleading stage and initial discovery, matter settled out of court resulting in multi-million dollar buyout of clients’ interest.
Represented coalition of local public agencies in action to compel State Agency to disclose public records under the California Public Records Act. Petition for Writ of Mandate granted, resulting in disclosure of thousands of previously withheld documents.
Represented private individual plaintiff in personal injury matter involving large investor owned utility. Following pleadings and extensive discovery practice, matter resolved out of court for favorable damages recovery for our client.
Defended California Irrigation District against California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) challenge to Environmental Impact Report adopted for canal lining project. Following fully litigated proceeding and oral argument, California Superior Court denied petition for Writ of Mandate, affirming the validity of our client’s environmental review.
